*Areas marked with None do not need to filled out in the beginning of the game.
To begin filling it out, first you must choose a name for your character.
After that, you will choose one of two in game character sexes: Male or Female. We'll get to the races later on, if you want to choose one now, scroll down below to the list of races. There you will find all their inherit skills, a brief explanation of what they're about, plus picture examples at the bottom of this page.
After that is done, you'll need to set your stats. ALO has 6 base stats as well as a few other sub stats, at level 1, your sub stats will be the same as the base stat, unless you have a race skill that boosts a particular sub stat.
At level 1, you get 600 stat points to split between your six main stats.
Health Points (HP) and Magic/Mana Points (MP) Attack(Atk), Speed(Spd), Magic Attack(Matk), and Magic Support(Mspt)
Of course, depending on how you want your character, you'll divide the 600 stats in which stat you want to be good in. You'll gain more stats as you play, and when playing through the game, you'll find out what style suits you best.
Keep in mind, for every 1 point you put into Hp, you'll actually increase your Max Hp by 10. For example, if you put 10 stat points into Hp, your Hp will go up by 100. All the other stats go up by a 1:1 value. Put 25 stat points into Mp and you get 25 Mp.
For you starting gear, you can use whatever you want in terms of look and style, but label it as "starting gear". Such as starting sword or starting leggings. For your weapon, you can use any starting weapon we have in the game. If you are unsure of if we have a certain weapon, just ask the Discord. Since none of your starting gear gives you any stats or skills, you'll want to switch them out fairly soon when you have the chance. Vanity Items are just any accessory item from rings to scarves. Your character doesn't need them, but they can add nice bonuses later on.
Finally, you'll have to choose your first few skills.
Most races can start off by choosing one of four elemental masteries. Fire, Water, Earth, and Lighting Mastery. Spriggans, Imps, and Dark Elves can also choose Dark Mastery. Light Elves can get Light Mastery. Sylves can get Wind Mastery. Frost Giants can get Ice Mastery. Humans Cannot choose an elemental mastery. Having an elemental mastery means being able to use some skills and classes which otherwise would be harder to obtain. You can obtain any elemental mastery by quest later in game, You do not have to start with an elemental mastery. Also, by default, you get to choose any weapon mastery at level 1 to put into skills. The following is a list of all Weapon type masteries you can have: -Swords Mastery level 1 -Casting Skill level 1 -Ranged Mastery level 1 -Hand to Hand Skill level 1
You can of course, choose only the ones you are interested in. You'll be able to gain level 1 weapon mastery at any time, so don't be afraid to skip out on one or two for now. Keep in mind again that you will need to put in some work to grow a weapon mastery to a higher level of skill to use those types of weapons better.
Now Skill slots on the other hand you need to be more careful with, you only get a limited number of skill slots per character. You'll gain more when you level up, but they're very limited and hard to come by.
Skill slots are for your more specific skill like fishing, cooking, smithing, and even your specific battle skills, like longsword mastery, or crossbow mastery. There is a more in depth look into skill slots on other pages, but here I will explain the basics. Skill slots are divided into battle skill slots and non-battle skill slots.
At level 1, you only have access to 1 skill slot, and it is indeed a battle skill slots. So I would put a specific weapon mastery there. For example, if you are using an Axe, I would put Axe Mastery in the skill slot. You can change skill slots as much as you want before reaching level 20, So give it a few tries to see what fits you best.
Now that we've reached the end of our basic ALO character profile tutorial, if you have any questions, just ask the discord.

The Fairy Races (Leprechaun, Spriggan, Undine, Imp, Salamander, Sylth, Cait Sith, Pooka, Gnome) all spawn at their Capital. Each Fairy race controls a large portion of land in the world of Alfheim, These are called Territories, each territory has cities and a Territory Capital, also called a race capital, this is where Fairies spawn. A Pooka player spawns in the Pooka Capital. Each Territory capital also has its own name, which can be found on the maps tab.
In the center of the Nine Fairy Territories is the Fairy capital, which is also the world capital of Alfheim. The name of the City is Alne. and this is where the races with no capital of their own spawn, these races include Demigods and Zombies since Alne is a neutral city for all players.
Surrounding the World Capital are the Major Race Capitals. here I will list them.
The Human Capital is to the southeast of Alne, this is where Human Players spawn. The Light Elf Capital is to the northeast of Alne, this is where Light Elves Spawn. The Dark Elf Capital is to the southwest of Alne, this is where Dark elves spawn. The Android Capital is to the northwest of Alne, this is where Androids Spawn.
Each Race may have its own individual cities, roads, and landmarks all around Alfheim, keep in mind which race resides over which area.
