Volleyball in ALO

>Matches are played in 3 sets.
Whoever gets a two-point lead wins the set.
Win two of three sets to take the game.
>In ALO volleyball you can have a specific skill a depending on which position you play.
>Players cannot change their Positions or Skills during a rally, but can in between or during timeouts.
>each team Is given two 30 minute timeouts.
Timeouts recover 50% of mp. So if you have 100 mp, you recover 50.
>teams have 15 minutes to Get the ball over the net. Or else the other team gets a point.
>A big difference is the teams can have up to six players, but only four players MAX can be playing the game at once per team. There is a Minimum of three. You may need to go to three for reasons such as Lag, or if BOTH teams just decide to do so.
>Mp regen in volleyball follows this formula.
Every time your team hits the ball over the net.
All those who hit the ball gain 20 mp.
Those who did not gain 10 mp.
>Spd is how fast you can block and how fast the ball travels when you hit it or block it.
If an attack is made, and a block is made.
Follow this formula to see if the hits make it past.
If the Hitter speed is the whole, and the blocker speed is the part. Take the percentage of the blocker speed to hitter speed. That Is the block percentage.
300 hitter spd to 150 blocker spd
150 is 50% of 300 the hitter.
So 50% block chance.
600 to 150.
150 is 25% of 600.
So 25% block chance.
600 hitter speed. to 600 blocker speed.
600 is 100% of 600.
So 100% block chance. That ball is blocked.
Do the same for digs and dives to see if the ball hits the ground.
>When a ball is blocked, it can either be hit up or a hit down.
When it is blocked down on your end.
Someone else besides the hitter has to make a dig, dive, or read.
If it gets hit up, its a free ball.
The chance of a down and up hit is Determined By how many players blocked the hitter.
>be in position when they're setting up for an offensive move. Activate reads, walls, etc.
when that move is made, a spike, a dump, etc. You'll need to defend against it in your positions.
If you're in front of them.
Then block.
If you're not.
Dive or make a dig.
If you're a space away either in front or to the side, if you SPD is higher than that of the ball, you can receive it. However you cannot move back spaces.

Front and back.
Left and right.
And centers.
Like a tic tac toe board.
Percents are chance of a down hit
1 - 20%
2 - 40%
3 - 70%
4 - 100%
However, if the chance of blocking is 25% or lower and you manage to block it, it becomes a deflection, which flies off your hand and onto your side of the net.

Wing Spiker -
Mp - 50
SPD - 150
Skill :
Spike - for 25 mp, boost the attack speed of the attack to 300 spd.
Dive - for 30 mp, boost blk SPD to 300 to catch a ball near the ground, you cannot make another move until the ball makes it over the net.
Break - for 50 mp, boost the chances of breaking through a block by 50%
Middle Blocker -
Mp - 50
SPD - 150
Skills :
Jump - For 50 mp, boost your odds of blocking by 50%
Delayed spike - For 40 Mp, make a spike at 230 spd that bypasses any speed or skill, unless someone uses read or dig.
Read - For 25 mp, boost the block speed of your next Jump to 400, but only against a certain player, deflects Dumps, and also saves the ball when your hitter gets blocked. If that person doesn't makea move, recover the 25 mp.
Setter -
Mp - 80
SPD - 100
Skills :
Fast set - uses 5 mp to boost SPD to 200 only when setting the ball.
Quick set - uses 20 mp to boost SPD to 300, only when setting the ball.
Dump - uses 50 mp to drop the ball over the net, weak against Dives.
Libero - Cannot make Attacks or Serve.
Mp - 130
SPD - 200
Skills :
Dash Receive - for 30 mp, boost receive speed by 100
Dive - for 60 mp, boost blk spd to 500 catch a ball near the ground, you cannot make another move until the ball makes it over the net.
Dig - can convert 1 mp into 2 block spd for one save, for 30 mp this also catches Delayed Spikes if you can match the ball's SPD.
Also Choose one :
Stamina Ace - Boost max mp by 50, all skills cost 10 mp less, but not below 10.
Decoy Ace - when you go up to make a decoy hit boost your SPD up to 500, you cannot actually hit the ball, however if the real hitter makes a point, you gain an additionall 10 mp. the next Real hit you do gets boosted by 30 spd
Serve Ace - Sets your Serving speed to 300, and also boosts your Passive SPD by 20
Smash Ace - for 30 mp, boost atk SPD to 700. you cannot regain mp until your team makes another point.
wall Ace - A team skill, three people use 20 mp each, All their block speeds are boosted to 600.
Weak to delayed spikes. A wall block Means your team regens no mp.
Receive Ace - Boost SPD when receiving by 100 SPD, you also gain 10 mp when receiving.
Blocking Ace - When you make a block, it has a 30% higher chance of being a down block.
and whenever you make an upward block, it becomes a deflection instead.
Setting Ace - when you make a set, gain 5 mp, also adds 20% of your setting speed to the attack.
*Volleyball does require a Skill Slot, but if you are part of a race's Team, you get a Free Volleyball Skill Slot, but that means you have to show up when your leader says so, every time.
