Smithing
*YOU CAN NO LONGER MAKE GEN 1 WEAPONS, FOR CURENT WEAPONS READ ABOUT 2017 SMITH PAGE.
Smithing is actually rather easy
You use materials to make weapons, armor ,etc
The success Rate Is
Level one : 70%
Level two : 80%
Level three : 90%
Level four : 100%
But depending on how difficult the mats are to work with
The rates go down or change as following :
Common - 0%
Rare- 10% down
Super rare- 20% down
Mega rare- 30% down
Ultra rare - 50% down
also depending on the rarity and level range you'll need more then just that material ,
if its a high rarity you'll need less of that same item to craft with it, if its a higher level item,
You'll need to have more iron to smith it into gear.
EX. wolf fangs are common so you'll need a ton of them to craft a wolf fang blade , and if its a high level material you'll need much more iron and metals to reinforce the gear with, the amounts are as followed:
Rarity :
C - 100 items required
R - 50 items required
SR - 10 items required
MR - 5 items required
UR - 1 items required
levels :
1-10 - no change
11-20 - common iron x10
21-30 - common iron x25
31-40 - common iron x50
41-50 - common iron x50 rare iron x1
51-60 - common iron x100 rare iron x10
61-70 - common iron x100 rare iron x25
71-80 - common iron x120 rare iron x50 MR iron x1
81-90 - common iron x120 rare iron x100 MR iron X5
91-100 - common iron x120 rare iron x120 MR iron x10
100+ - common iron x150 rare iron x150 MR iron x20 UR iron x1
To move to 2nd level smithing you need to craft
20 weapons of that class
And to move to 3rd level
You need to Smith 30 more weapons of that class
And for 4 you need to smith 50 more weapons of that class.
Each weapon has a class
If you make more Weapons in that class
Your smithing skill will go up for it.
Ex. Dagger smithing : level 1
You need some metal or some base to start a sword
Some base and a type of string for a bow
For a staff that can be made out of lots of things
Materials are rated on what level and rarity weapon they can give you
1= 1-10 level
2= 10-20 level
3= 20-30 level
4= 30-40 level
5= 40-50 level
6=50-60 level
7=60-70 level
8=70-80 level
9=80-90 level
10=90-100 level
C- common
B- rare
A- super rare
X- mega rare
S- ultra rare
A S-5 material can craft you a 40-50 level ultra rare equipment
to make it , simply hit the item with the hammer while its on the Anvil or forge until the desired weapon type comes up.
after that the weapon takes shape and the level is chosen at random, as well as the specs.
Also there are magic blacksmiths
They do different jobs
You can ask them to add an element to a weapon
Or ask them to upgrade the specs of a weapon you have
To add an element you need essence of water , fire , etc , OR use an elemental tomb which can be found in many way, such as looting , boss drops , etc. if you use essence its costs are as followed ,the first being the first element and the second being the second element, third being third, and etc :
C - 100 , 200 , 500
B - 100 , 300 , 600 , 900
A - 200 , 500 , 900 , 1200 , 1750
X - 300 , 700 , 1100 , 1600 , 2200
S - 1000 , 2,500 , 3000 , 4000 , 5000, 7,000
To get this you must do quests relating to that element or kill monsters who drop them
To upgrade specs
Sometimes you just need money
Sometimes you need materials or mats for short.
such as iron and essence , if your sword has an element , it will require essence based on the number of elements you have.
it needs essence for each element, so upgrading swords with a lot of elements is hard.
The process rates Are always 50% but with better smithing equipment , this can be fixed , magic blacksmiths use the same equipment as blacksmiths
The upgrades go like this
A weapon can go up to +10
As well as all other equips such as armor.

ES on weapons -
if you want to give a weapon that can have an ES but doesn't have one yet,
here's how. First you must have a ES Orb (obtainable from Weekend boss "MR.ROBATO")
and then you can choose any ES and put it on the weapon with some smithing magic.
however if you want a lv 2 or lv 3 ES you will just be needing more ES Orbs,
5 for LV 2 and 10 for LV 3, simple.
To craft weapon sheaths all you need is to get a type of fur and smith it into a sheath , the only difference between using an expensive
fur and a common fur is the style and overall how the sheath looks in appearance.
the sheath counts as part of a sword , so it cannot have ES , and cannot be used in battle unless specified.
