Alchemy works depending on what you're working with
To make potions you need a brewer you can buy at a furniture store for 25k.
just throw all the required items into it and there will it is, unless of course that item fails to come out, some items have low success rates.
the amount of potions you create give you a alchemist ranking, these ranking have a small effect, and give you a title of course.

Spawn Trap - 70% SUR
the exact ratio being, 1 at level 120 and 1 more for every 10 levels lower than that.
Ex. level 10 or lower = 12 spawn.
Elemental resistance - 90% SUR
Night vision - 100% SUR
Water breathing - 100%
Potion of stats - 90% success rate
HP potion - 75%
MP potion - 75%
status ailment curing potion - 85%
Exp potion - 30%

10 mp - pillar - makes a pillar spawn up from a surface,10 mp per square meter
pillar - hp - hard surface 3,500-1,000 soft surface
20 mp - spike - makes a spike spawn up from a surface,10 mp per meter
spike - hp - hard surface 2,000-500 soft surface
atk - hard surface 700-200 soft surface
elemental creation alchemy- (unlocks with 5 EMP,requires basic alchemy battle skills)
50 mp - create fire - an explosion occurs when you make a motion(motions can vary)500% matk dmg,3 square meter diameter explosion
shape mastery - (unlcocks with 10 WMP,requires basic alchemy battle skills)
10 mp - create weapon - you spawn any type of melee weapon
atk - + 10 per 10 mp used(max 500)
(cannot be used if you have a weapon equipped)
20 mp - create cage - spawns a cage from a surface, +500 hp per 20 mp used
10 mp - mend - adds hp to nonorganic material by 1,000, can also be used to heal bleed

- 25 - rookie - +10% SUR
